At LEADPrep we work hard to ensure there is regular communication between parents/guardians and teachers.
We know that communication is the key to the strong village of support for our students. By being available and investing precious time in communication we allow this to happen.
It’s very common for the media to concentrate, when reporting on a student’s misdeeds, on where the fault lies.
If students don’t thrive, pointing fingers does not help the damage done. For many, the expectation is no longer that the parent will cultivate good and productive citizens but the schools will.
There is a better way to approach this. Although it might not be so good for media sales! We ensure that teachers and parents are collaborating from the start.
All parents want their kids to thrive, and teachers are enthusiastically cheering both the parents and the children on from the classroom.
By constantly communicating and sharing our care for each student, LEADPrep creates and fosters the environment of a “village approach” to the support of each student.
There is no need to be concerned if today’s societal expectations place responsibility more on the “caretakers” of a child or the “educators” of the child.
We know that everyone in the village has responsibility.
We take joy in collaborating and supporting each other in ways that can strengthen the emotional, physical, and educational levels of each student.
Our communication, hands-on help, and constant sharing of information creates the LEADPrep Village of Care. This allows each student to grow on all levels. And we prevent, rather than deal with, any issues our students face.
