LEADPrep is a progressive 6-12 micro-school with Kirkland and Seattle campuses. 30 students maximum in either learning community. 1:6 teacher to student ratio. Our dynamic, personalized model includes project-based and interdisciplinary learning with co-teaching support. Teachers guide the multi-ages classes, encouraging learner agency, while emphasizing the whole student. Our team is dedicated to cultivating and sustaining a culture of compassion and inclusivity among a diverse population of faculty and students.

The ideal candidate is passionate about fostering a learning environment where teens feel seen, heard, valued, and thriving. Working in-person at our small micro-campus, the Student Services and Community Care Leader will champion our students’ social and emotional development by leading a proactive, problem-solving strategy and developing strong and caring relationships with students. You are a clear communicator, an empathetic listener, and an empowering motivator who easily engages in positive collaboration with both teens and adults.
Must have at least a bachelor’s degree and two year’s experience counseling youth or equivalent. Masters in counseling or social work preferred. Must be fully vaccinated / boosted against COVID-19. Position open until filled.
LEADPrep is seeking a Math teacher to teach Middle School students.
- Create hands-on middle school math learning activities aligned with learning styles, exposing learners to real world connections
- Oversee the independent (ALEKS-based) high school math program
- Provide project-/problem-based instruction

LEADPrep is seeking an Middle School English Language Arts teacher
- Create hands-on middle school ELA learning activities aligned with learning styles, exposing learners to real world connections
- Assist learners in gaining skills in writing mechanics and fluency
- Extend the ELA program to our high school learners
- Encourage and support teachers in literacy across the curriculum
Must have at least a bachelor’s degree in K-8 ELA or a related subject and two year’s experience teaching children / adolescents, or equivalent. Must be fully vaccinated / boosted against COVID-19. Position open until filled.
We are seeking a creative, hands-on special education teacher. Our dynamic, personalized model includes project-based learning with co-teaching support.
- Want the learners to do the designing, thinking, and creating within a unit theme
- Can guide, encourage learner agency, address the whole student, and promote opportunities for life lessons and life skills beyond textbooks
- Place student wellbeing over the day’s lesson
