Every school needs a name. A name that aligns with what the school believes in. At L & E Academy, we believe that students need to be empowered to lead from a place of deeply-embedded guiding principles. Evolving as a leader comes from knowledge of oneself, clarity of principles, and proactive decision-making. It moves the student in a predetermined direction.
To slow down and clearly determine the direction of one’s life is no easy feat at any age. Teen years are complicated by many life changes and deluged with media input and social pressures. This is precisely why self-reflective leadership is emphasized at L & E Academy. Intentional and principle-based leadership…foundational whether leading oneself or a large group.
Want to start a band? Take on teen homelessness in the Greater Seattle area? Create your own graphic design company? Many teens have fantastic ideas and the energy to move them forward. With support in the stages of becoming an entrepreneur and community mentorship, we help students look at the steps needed to turn a dream into a reality. This provides a toolkit of resources that can be used for a lifetime…as a side source of revenue while in college or in creating a dream career.
We are empowering our youth as leaders and entrepreneurs while engaging them in project-based, integrated learning. We want teens to develop the leadership and entrepreneurial skills needed to reach their goals. This is what L & E Academy stands for!
